Our Philosophy
Spectrum of Joy’s philosophy is to nurture and assist each child in their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development according to each student’s age and ability. A strict 8-1 student-to-teacher ratio ensures this philosophy flourishes daily. Additionally, each child’s personal RBT is welcome to perform therapies with the student in the learning environment. The philosophy drives the program to offer a targeted, high quality education for neurodivergent students that traditional schools cannot offer.
The curriculum includes developmentally appropriate activities geared toward increasing the connection these students experience with reading, writing, and math. Creative art and imaginative play activities provide additional opportunities for students to develop to their full potential.
